According to Pakistan, "Daily Times" reported on July 16, Pakistan has called on the ceramic mug manufacturer of ceramic products produced in China anti-dumping duties, adding that imports from China and other ceramic tiles priced even lower than the Chinese in Pakistan domestic. They also pointed out that importers false declaration to the Palestinian treasury every year caused about 20 billion rupees of revenue loss (1 U.S. dollar equals 86 rupees), while transit trade through Afghanistan into Pakistan territory smuggling large quantities of ceramics, are caused to local manufacturers threat.
Pakistani manufacturers that are not subject to anti-dumping duties, low-invoicing and false declaration is serious, natural gas and electricity shortages, and other unfavorable factors, originally had hoped to become Pakistan's major export industry of ceramics are survival at risk.
